    Within the UK, the working environment as been made safer by the introduction of The Health and Safety at Work Act, The Electricity at Work Act, etc. In my humble opinion, working in the home to these standards will prevent damage, injury or death.
    Every task or operation contains an element of risk, The Health and Safety Executive have produced a leaflet called 5 Steps to Risk Assessment.
    The initials P.P.E. are now common place in the workplace, this is an acronym for Personal Protection Equipment.  It is equipment designed and constructed to prevent injury to a person carrying out a specific task.
