Could not help but notice the reviews on the AmazonUK website with respect to the Bosch AXT 2200 HP Silent Garden Shredder. It would appear that it highly regarded. After using a traditional blade shredder I am looking forward to try this out.

The 40 rpm cutting drum and the self-feeding effect increases material throughput to approximately 140 kg per hour. The cut and crushed nature of the shredded material will provide the most ideal host environment for organisms to break down garden waste into quality compost.

General Information on Garden Shredders

Safety First

Read and follow the manufacturers manual and instructions with respect to operating and maintaining of the shredder/chipper.
Do not wear clothing like ties etc. that can become dragged into the machine.
Always wear goggles when operating the shredder.
The wearing of gloves is advised to prevent cuts and abrasions.
It is not advised to wear short sleeves or short trousers.
Keep others outside of the working area given in the manual or instructions, especially children.
