Phostrogen Swellgel®

Function:

Polymer crystals can absorb up to 400 times their own weight in water. The action is not disimiliar to that of adding water to geletain cystals to make jelly. The water is taken up quickly but released at a much slower rate. If added to compost it will swell when watered and then release moisture back into the compost over a long period of time.

Usage:

Hanging baskets where the levels of evaporation throughout the day are considerable.

Any container in where high levels of evaporation are expected or a reduction in watering is needed.
