What does chlorine have to do with gardening?

Chlorine is one of the chemicals that is used in swimming pools. To be effective however the pH of the water must be around 7.0. That is why kits like the one sold by Crocus 39.99) amongst others, contains chemicals to adjust the pH levels. Test strips are needed to test the Chlorine level and pH levels. Individual chemicals are available from Capital Spas they also have a bromine kit.
