Bonemeal
Bonemeal or bone meal is a sterilised mixture of crushed and coarsely bones used
as an organic fertiliser. It is slow release in use and is a good source of
phosphorus. There is also
nitrogen contained in the bonemeal which again is slow acting for an added
bonus.

Application Rates (check the product instructions you are using)
As a rough guide use 1lb per 10 sq ft.
For base dressing use 4.5 oz / sq. yd.
Top dressing use 3 oz / sq. yd.
Sprinkle a handful per square yard onto your lawns in Autumn. Since it is slow
acting it will not damage the lawn but over time will gradually break down and
should help increase the lawns drought tolerance.
